Pool time!!!

We got the pool out this weekend! We had to put warm water in it before Ray would get in. I'm sure that will change when he's older, some day soon he will be jumping in when its really cold. Unless he's like his daddy! Alvin HATES cold water! Me, if its within reason, I can jump in and be OK, nope not Alvin, he will refuse!!!!!!! I try to tell him "its not that bad" but he knows me to well now, and doesn't trust me!
Here's some pictures of Ray's fun time in the pool...

Then we got the sprinkler out for him....you can tell how he felt about that from the look on his face...Then Saturday night, (it was the night before the big race) we went over to our old house (which for those of you who don't know, the house is a few blocks from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) to visit with our old neighbor's, yes that is our old house behind Alvin and Ray. It was great seeing everyone and I (kinda) miss living over there this time of year. While we waiting on our friend to get home we went and ate at "Mug-n-bun" It is an outdoor or eat in your car restaurant. Ray had a grilled cheese sandwich that he devoured!!!The Sunday we pretty much did the same thing (except going over by the track, and I don't think I have to explain why) we swam and hung out outside all day, Alvin cooked Ribs on the grill, and Ray and I had corn on the cob. Alvin took another "OK" picture of Ray and I, so I thought I would post another to prove to you that I really do exist.Hope everyone had a good weekend, (we have 1 more day of it)

Bye for now!!!

Twice in 1 week!

Can you believe it, twice in one week? But I had to share some fun pictures I took this week,

This is a cute video of Ray blowing raspberries on Alvins arm...

Ray loves helping his daddy in the yard...

Ray in his bike carrier, we have been looking for one and Dawn a girl I work with had one she was going to sell in her garage sale, SOLD! Ray enjoyed himself, he looked very comfortable in there...Hanging on the bar on the swing, daddy even let go a few times...Another "stunt" Ray was doing, I noticed while brushing his teeth the other night, his front tooth is already chipped, He's only 14 months old!!!!!! He also had his 1st splinter last night. He did really good while I got it out, he didn't cry or fight us. We will be lucky to keep him in one piece through out these toddler years! Alvin got a good picture of Ray and I, which never happens because I'm always the one behind the camera, but I thought this one was good...It will be another busy weekend so I'm sure I will have more pictures then.

Bye for now!!

Another busy weekend!

It seems I'm always posting about our weekends, but that's when we do everything, so here goes. Saturday started off with awful weather and we had an outdoor wedding to go to. But Mother Nature had other plans for the Bride and Groom and it got beautiful outside!!!!!! The groom Keith is one of our friends that we played pool with. It has been awhile since we had seen him so I was so happy to be invited. They live on a farm out west from here. So that is were they had the wedding. It was so much fun and we got to see alot of our old "pool" buddies! The bride and groom have 4 horse's and 4 chickens, some dogs and I think I saw a cat. Ray kept calling the horse's "dog". We got to pet and feed the horses and Ray even sat on one. I stayed as far away from those chicken's, they were fun to watch but that's as close as we got!!!!! Ray also had his 1st in counter with a frog, a friend of Alvin's found one and let Ray see it, when he dropped it, Ray was really trying to grab it, but no luck, then some mean bigger boy came and grabbed it and took him away. I really wanted to yell at that boy, taking things from a baby like that! Ray was really going after that frog, and I didn't have my camera at that time DARN IT!!!!! Here are so pictures of our day....

The Bride and Groom..

A boy Ray met while we were there, they were the same age, it is so funny seeing Ray with little people his own age...Ray "smelling" a dandelion...3 of the 4 chicken's...Ray went right with this girl into see the horses, she was very sweet...Ray with a big "dog"...Ray on a big "dog", he didn't ride but I asked if I could get his picture on her...And to top the day off.....I got stuck!!!!! Alvin had a few drinks so I drove home, remember all the awful weather we had the beginning of the day...it left its make on the field we parked in. I started to drive out and I couldn't go anywhere, so Alvin went to get a few guys he knew, he only told 3 people, well word spread fast, cause along came EVERYBODY!!!!! I was so so so so embarrassed. The man that lived there had to get me out with his tractor! Yes, a tractor got me out!!!! How embarrassing, that is all I have to say about that!!!

It was a great day! Then on Sunday we celebrated Brandon's 5Th birthday. We had a great time over at their house, with great food and really good cake! Brandon made out like a bandit with toys, I think he had a great birthday and we enjoyed ourselves too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!!!

Happy Belated Mothers day!!!

We didn't do much during the day, I cleaned, Alvin did yard work. Then later in the day Alvin's family came over for a cook-out. Everyone pitched in with the food, It was all very good! I was bummed that it was a little chilly outside. But the kids and Dads played outside while us girls sat inside and talked about babies! Rachel (my sister-in-law) is really looking pregnant! They had their 1st ultrasound that you could see the baby, it looks like he's waving to us (I say "him" but we don't know yet) So we all reminisced about our "birth" stories. Steve and Dawn took "mother and child" pictures for everyone, Ray really wasn't into sitting with his mom to have his picture taken. But from what I could tell on their camera, they got a couple of good ones. I hope everyone had a great day!
Guess what Ray is doing now.....KISSING! I think it is so cute, when he is in the "mood" and say "Ray can mommy have a kiss" he will, with a wide, open, mouth, come and kiss you! Melts his ol' moms heart!!!!!!!! Alvin thinks I kiss Ray more than I do him!

Here are some pictures.....
Ray loves his kitty....to bad the feeling isn't mutual....

Ray loves his Daddy too....He loves his cousins too....Alvin got great action shots of Jess and Brandon....Look at that smile....Do I have a "stunt man" on my hands? No more "Nitro Circus" for Ray....On sad note, please pray for Kayleigh's family (look for the stamp on the side) , Kayleigh passed away last night after a long battle, I am so sad for them. I cant imagine losing your child, thats all I can say because it brings me to tears and I realize how lucky I am to have a healthy toddler!

Bye for now!!

Hello!

We had yet another busy weekend, the weather was pretty good, so of course we jumped at the chance to get Ray out of the house! Saturday we went grocery shopping (not alot of fun for Ray) we made the mistake of letting him do some walking around the store, well guess who wanted to do it all the time? Yep, Ray, he would get upset if you picked him up. He sure looked cute walking around like a big boy. We went on lots of walks around the neighborhood also. Sunday we took Ray to 2 local parks, we had more fun at the 2ND one, but the 1st had a great "walking" trail around a pond. I am getting pretty good exercise with Ray this spring. Here are some pictures from our weekend,
Having fun in a riding car handed down from Jess and Brandon....

This one was at the 1st park we went to....Ray kept his sunglasses on for a long time, what a stud....Attack of the "orange Baby" he was going down a "tube" slide, too funny....Checkin' everybody out....On the "big" boy playground....These next to pictures are of Ray on the same slide, the 1st one is at almost 14 months old and the 2ND one was at 4 months old, what a different 10 months makes....Look at that hair, he had sunblock in it and mommy had a brush, that's some WILD hair....I could of posted so so many pictures but I had to control myself. Hope everyone has a great week.

Bye for now!!
