Some GREAT news & pictures

The great news......My mom had a Cat scan done last week and it shows that the cancer has been reduced 58% after 3 Chemo treatments!!!!!!!!! That news makes me so so so happy, and to hear my mom sound so good makes me happy too! Its like my mom is BACK!!!!! They got out of the house on Sunday and went to my sisters house. They really needed a change in scenery. They (the Dr's) are going to keep up the same plan, and she had another dose of chemo today! I am so HAPPY! Have I told you that I'm happy?
We had a busy weekend, Saturday we played outside, then Saturday night Ray had a "sleep over" at Steve and Dawn's, while Alvin and I went out. We had a great time. We were supposed to sleep in on Sunday due to the fact Ray wasn't here, well I was up at 7:30AM!!!! I was very upset. So we got up and went and got him! Then we went to grandma and grandpa's house and had lunch. We came home and Ray and I were very very tried, so I held him and we took a nap. It was so nice, my baby in my arms, the windows open, a nice breeze and my wind chimes chiming. I wish it would have never ended! Here are some pictures....

Besides the booger in his nose, I really like this pictureThis picture looks like he is bookin' across the yardGuess who has a black eye, you guessed it, he was walking across our living room floor and he tripped on the blanket we had down and right into the coffee table!Isn't this just pitiful?I thought this was funny, with his t-shirt and it looks like he's holding up the window....Bye for now!

Lovin' this weather!

After a very crappy beginning of the week (weather wise), the end of the week is great, besides all of us having colds! What's up with that? Ray is walking like crazy, he got another tooth yesterday, that makes 8, he is working on a molar! His poor mouth, the bump he has back where the molar is coming in is huge!!! It really doesn't seem to be getting him down though.
Here are LOTS of pictures from tonight,
Ok, this one is from last night, he is getting in trouble, he knows he's not allowed to put his hand on the fireplace glass fire or no fire....

Look at my big boy walking...."push baby push" Ray loves to push stuff, I guess it makes him feel like a big strong boy....He was watchin' the BIG boys ride there bikes! "Don't worry baby one day you will be riding your BIG boy bike too"....I just thought this was cute....One cool Dude, in his custom wagon....I know I am little strange, but I think I "captured" a moment here....and here....Even Gabrielle is lovin' this weather, she is just beside her self to have all the windows open....I hope to have more pictures this weekend, the weather man says its going to be a nice one. Alvin and I are going "out" tomorrow night. We are going to see a band with his mom, dad and some girls I work with. I am looking forward to it. We haven't been out in a very very very long time! Ray is going to have a sleep over at Aunt Dawn and Uncle Steve's house! I'm sure he will have lots of fun with his cousins! I, like always am getting sad when I think of leaving him, but I know he will be in good hands and its not for long. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Bye for now!

Fun evening outside!

Today was absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! So after Alvin and I got off work and before Dinner, we headed outside. Steve and Dawn gave us a baby swing, well lets just say Ray loved it!!!

I just think this picture is tooooo funny! Everything is good! Since I have been working Mondays, the weekend cant come fast enough! I am so ready to be with Ray by Thursday, I miss him so much and really miss "my" day with him. In the summer, I will be getting off at 3:00 on Wednesday, so I'll get some more time with him. It just seems like the nights are so routine, pick Ray up, head home, dinner, clean Ray up from dinner (sometimes, that's a chore in its self), I do the dishes while Daddy and Ray play, maybe sit down for 5 minutes (to catch my breath), give Ray his bath (my favorite time), get Ray ready for bed, give him his milk, we play for a 1/2 hour or so, brush Rays teeth, change his diaper, rock him (my favorite time), he sleeps! That leaves me about 1 hour to do anything that needs done (and by the looks of my house, I am just sitting on my butt for that hour :). Don't get me wrong I wouldn't change it for the world, I just wish there was MORE time!!!!!! They grow up so so so dag gone fast! Who ever started making work time longer than family time should be shot! I guess I should have gone to school to do something to make lots and lots of money, and then I wouldn't have to work this much! But then again, if I had done that I wouldn't have Alvin and Ray, so that said I will keep this life and love and complain about it! (I really am smiling the whole time I'm writing this:)

Enough of the bitching, these are a couple of pictures I took this morning before I left for WORK :)

I just think he is so cute!Bye for now!

Update on my mom

It has been awhile since I wrote about my mom, so I thought I'd give an update! For last couple of months she has been dealing with severe depression! She didn't want to eat or talk to anyone, all she wanted to do was sleep! We have been very worried about her. She called me yesterday, (that was a great surprise!) She told me that she went to have blood work on Friday, and they sent her over to the hospital for a Blood Transfusion because she was severely anemic. Then they did another dose of Chemo yesterday, and how ever they "measure" the cancer, it does seem to be getting smaller! GREAT NEWS!!!! She goes for a Cat Scan on Thursday to make sure everything is looking good in there! She has lost 30 lbs since all this started (mid january). Hopefully this is the path that will lead her to happier times.
Bye for now!

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail!

Happy Easter! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We spent the day at grandma and grandpa Jones' today, but 1st the Easter bunny paid Ray a little visit. He didn't leave much just a big Stuffed Bear and a movie. There isn't alot of candy Ray can eat yet, but he did get some from grandma and grandpa.
Ray on his 1st Easter egg hunt. I realized after I got to their house that I had nothing to put on Rays feet, so I ran to the Dollar general store to see if they had anything, the only thing there was generic crocks. They were only $4.00 so I got them. Ray hated them!!!!!! They didn't fit very well, what do you except from $4 dollar "dollar general shoe's" (no offense, for those of you who wear shoes from there, I need to go back, they had alot of neat things there) So anyway, we decided he could go in his socks, and he did fine!

Ray and his cousins, we got some family pictures while we were there, that was so comical, we all laughed very hard about those, but they did get a few good ones!We had a good day. I just cant believe it was Ray's 2nd Easter!

Bye for now!!

Busted lip #2

We got another one! Ray is not allowed to crawl on grandma & grandpa's kitchen floor again! (that's what grandma says) She even put a gate up so he cant go in there! It was pretty much the same thing as last time, this time his lip is worse! My poor baby!

I went into Ray's room to wake him up and he looked so sweet again, I had to take another picture, and yes, he does wear other pajama's, can you see him holding onto his crib bar?Ray is walking alot more! He still really hasn't figured out how to start walking without starting from an object or us, he has done it maybe once. He looks so cute when he walks, he's so so so proud of himself! Look at the "big" boy,Another picture with him in a hat! I love him in one (I love him all the time :) He just looks so cute!Over all I think my boy is pretty darn cute!!!!!! Can you tell?

Bye for now!!

Easter Bunny

Ray got to see the VERY scary Easter bunny. I'm sorry but this bunny was scary! We went shopping at Wal-mart on Saturday and they were doing complimentary pictures with him, well needless to say he didn't like him, (I really don't blame him) The lady asked if I still wanted the picture taken, "of course I do", this is a classic picture, too funny!
On a different note, Ray has had a spot on his upper belly for awhile now, I have been treating it with Hyrocortisone cream, (if you can remember his rash from past postes, this is how the Dr. told me to treat it) and its not getting any better, in fact, it has been getting worse. I also noticed last night that he had little bumps on his back. He had also been running a fever late last week. So I called the Dr. today and they wanted to see him, now that I am working Mondays again, I asked grandma to take him to the appointment. The rash got progressively worse as the day went on. He has "Roseola" I guess its a virus and will go away. But he sure looks miserable, but he really doesn't seem to be bothered by it. These are not very good pictures but I think you get an idea of it

Thanks to grandma for taking him to the Dr. :)

I went in to wake him up the other morning and look how sweet he was, it was so hard to wake him up when he was this peaceful.Bye for now!
