Well we went to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend. Grandma Seeks, Stacy, Van, the kids and of course we went. It was COLD and WINDY!!!!! So I didn't get quite the pictures of Ray that I would of liked, but Alvin got one GREAT one. (I think) This is the smile that's makes me MELT, that scrunched up nose. I just LOVE it!!!! Of course on the hay ride all Ray really cared about was eating the hay. Thanks to Grandma Seeks for paying our way to the pumpkin patch!

The outfit I wanted Ray to wear you cant see in any pictures because he fell asleep while we in the pumpkin patch! Also it was pretty muddy out there. That's OK, I still think he looked pretty cute! We got him a tiny pumpkin. He also got a shirt that said "My 1st pumpkin came from Beasley's pumpkin patch" the shirts were free to baby's.

Grandma Seeks goes home on Thursday morning, I will be sad to see her leave. She sure has enjoyed Ray, and he's done some new things for her to see. He now stands up on things with out even thinking about it. (we had to move his crib mattress down a few notches, I also had to take the mobile down off his bed) He is now talking up a storm, he really has something to say.

I told him today that he's growing up WAAAY to fast for his Mommy to handle and this is to much to do in 1 day.

My 1st baby

I wanted to post about our 1st baby, I don't want anyone to think I'm neglecting her now that I have a son (Dawn and Holly at work:) She is still my baby and she is very good with Ray, she will let him touch her and she will come up and sniff him. We praise her all the time for being nice. I still truly love her dearly.

Family Outing

Well we had a fun camping trip this past weekend. We went to Raccoon Lake and camped Friday Thur Sunday. We went to the Covered Bridge Festival again. We had a great time.

Poor Ray, he started to crawl (really crawl on all 4's) And we take him somewhere he cant!! He wanted down on the ground so bad. We would let him crawl around on the beds in the camper but he still wanted on the leaf covered ground! We took him to the play ground and I think Alvin and I had more fun watching him than he had, he swung on the swings, went on the teeter toter, went down the slides (with his daddy of course) drank from the water fountain (see the video watch his tongue) He is growing up so fast!!

We had 4 deer behind our campsite. That was pretty neat to see them just walking around, I'm not sure why its so neat to see a deer, but I just get so excited when I see one. Those deer had it made being in a state park and are not aloud to be hunted, there were some hunters a few campsites down from us. (I wonder if they saw them, he he he, I bet that was a big tease if I were those deer I would of stood in front of them and SMILED)

OK enough about the deer. (can you tell how I feel about hunting?) We are anxiously awaiting my moms arrival tomorrow. Alvin and Ray will be picking her up at the airport. I have to work until 7 so I wont be able to go. I cant wait for my mom to see Ray. I think she will be shocked at all the new things he does now, like sits up from the crawling position, pulling himself up to standing. It will be nice having her here, she will be here for 1 week then will be flying back with my nephew Zack that will be spending his fall break down there with them. My sister Stacy and her family are coming up this weekend also. I love to see my family! I'm sure my next post will be about that.

Busy Weekend

Well we had a very busy weekend, Saturday we went to the Covered Bridge Festival with Grandma and Grandpa Jones and Jessica & Brandon. We had fun it was very HOT and Busy!!!! As most of you know I do not like shoes on babies (especially my own child) but Alvin and I decided (and to make Grandma and Grandpa Jones happy :) to buy Ray a pair of tennis shoe's. He looked like such a big boy with his Big boy jeans and shoe's on. (it made me kinda sad :(

Then on Sunday Chuck, and the girls came over. It was so nice to see them. I really think the girls liked Ray and I think he liked them. They just acted like Moms to him and I loved it. I think it is great what wonderful girls they ALL have turned out to be. They helped me with Ray and Helped clean up after dinner, and they are all still so loving. They still (and better ALWAYS give me a hug) when they see me and leave me!! I just wish we could see them more, but I realize all of our lives are busy. Rhea was sick and didn't come so maybe that will get them over again soon.

Ray is definitely moving around, He hasn't crawled on all 4's yet but he scoots and does the army crawl. We are telling him "NO" all the time now, he goes after everything he shouldn't go after, like the DVD played and the air conditioner grate or under the Coffey table. Alvin looked at me the other night when he went after the Remote and said to me "AND IT BEGINS!!!" for 7 months we have been able to put him down and he stays put well, NO MORE of that. I am going to try and post a video I took on my camera this morning, hopefully it will work.

Well Ray is now awake so I better go tend to him. I hope everyone is well. Bye for now!!

Just starting

Well I decided I wanted to try and start a blog, I'm not sure if I'll be any good at it (honestly I don't really even know what I'm doing) but I that what the heck let me try it!

We are all doing very well, Ray is getting so big, he's eating all sorts of solid foods. I gave him Mango today and he seemed to really like it! Alvin is out cutting the grass with his new "riding lawn mower" He really needed one, after he hurt his hand awhile back and I had to cut the grass, I realized just how bad he needed one! (I know that's awful) He looks pretty cute on it, he just cruises around the yard thinking he's cool. Ray is sleeping and I'm sitting here watching the people across the street move stuff into there new shed. (something else Alvin needs alot) I think she may be pregnant, I'm so nosey.

This posting stuff seems to be pretty easy, I may have fun doing this.
