Just Pictures!

I'm a slacker!

I may be a slacker with the whole "blog" but I've been busy! It started Thursday night when my sister Stacy and brother in law Van stopped by before heading back to Kentucky! We had a nice visit with them and we ordered pizza. It was great to see them even if it was just for the evening. Stacy gave Ray his bath and as you can tell by the picture, I think Stacy got a bath also...
Friday night we spent getting the house ready for my mom and dad. They got to our house Saturday afternoon. Saturday night my brother Greg, his girlfriend Rene, my nephew Zach and his girlfriend Mika came over for a cook out! Ray really liked Zach, they ran around the back yard and had a good time... I just love this picture...

Sunday we hung out at my house until dinner time and then we went over to my mother and father in laws house for dinner. All of Alvins family came to see my parents. I'm so glad Alvins family gets along with mine. Here's a few from our evening over there...

We had a great time with them, I really wish they didnt have to leave, but my mom had a doctor appointment early Wednesday so they had to get back for that! I think over all my mom is doing well, she gets very tired and she goes to bed early, her back does start to hurt her, but other than those couple of things she seems to be good! They enjoyed there visit with Ray. The last time they saw him was in January so he has changed alot since then, that was right after my mom was diagnosed so what of that visit they remember is questionable. I know I am already looking forward to the next visit with them.

Busy weekend!

Friday night we baby sat for Jess and Brandon, they were very good for us. We took them to Splash Island, I think they really enjoyed themselves, I was a nervous wreck, trying to watch 2 kids that are not mine in a very very busy pool!! They did what there parents and what we told them to do. Of course I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures while we were at the pool, but here are a few of the 3 of them when we got back..



Then on Saturday we went and surprised my mom and dad, they flew into Indianapolis then headed to Kentucky to see my sister. They will be back here next Saturday, but I couldn't have them that close to me and not see them! Oh, was it so so good to see them!!! Ray went to my dad pretty good...

It was also Alvin's and my 17 year anniversary! That's a long time! But these 17 years have been wonderful! He is a great partner and cant wait to see what the next 17 years brings us. Here are a couple of pictures from the big day..I'm sure you all will laugh at thse pictures..


Then after alot of thought, I went to a bachlorrete party, a girl I work with Dana is getting married on September 12Th. I wanted to go but I thought I should stay home because it was our anniversary. So after talking to Alvin he said he wanted me to go and have a good time! The girls went out dinner and I just met up with them after dinner for the "fun" part,(they went to a sushi place, and nothing about sushi excites me)I had alot of fun dancing, even though I cant dance but I have so much fun doing it! Dana (the bride) didn't feel well, I felt bad for her, I cant wait to talk to her and find out how the rest of the night went!
Then today we really didn't do anything, except take this picture...

Do you like the forehead?

Well we took another fall on Tuesday. Ray has been at his Aunt Dawn's house this week cause grandma and grandpa are out of town on vacation. Ray was with Jess and Brandon playing with side walk chalk and down he went! I usually call Dawn/grandma during the day to find out how he is doing, well Tuesday I didn't call and when Alvin walked in with Ray I was very shocked! Ray is/was fine but it sure looked nasty!

He has done pretty good with his Aunt Dawn, he really likes her, I picked him up on Monday and he reached out for her, while I had him! I told him he couldn't come back if he was going to be like that! I know Dawn will read this so "Thank you Dawn, you have helped us out alot" We get to return the favor with baby sitting tomorrow night while they go to a pre season colts game. GO COLTS!

Look at those feet!

I guess Boys will be Boys, he was playing in the bed of daddy's truck. His feet have been dirty before, but this, this is by far the worst! This is just the beginning of dirty "things", I'm sure of that!

1st time at the Zoo...

We took Ray to the zoo on Sunday for the 1st time! It was a great day, the weather was great, not to hot and a nice breeze! I think Ray liked it, he did really well considering he was almost asleep when we got there.
Here is a picture of them on the merry go round, Ray really enjoys those. (it looks like Daddy has fun too :) Every time they came around to me Ray would just smile!Petting a goat..

A funny Ray story, Grandma called me Tuesday night and said Ray left her a surprise in the toilet, and no its not what you think, he left her, a wod of Kleenex, a diaper, and a can of sprite in the toilet! I sure wish she had gotten a picture of that! Too funny!
